Roberto Santiago Contribution to Manaira Mall Growth

Roberto Santiago is a well-known businessman man as well as entrepreneur Brazil. He owns the Manaira shopping mall and the Mangabeira shopping mall. Roberto was born on July 16, 1958, in Joao Pessoa; he attended X-Marist College and later university center of Joao Pessoa where he finished with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He purchased the land where Manaira mall is located in 1987 and developed it until 1989. The mall has a food court, rooftop concert hall, shopping stalls and college financial institutions. After graduating Mr. Santiago worked at café Santa Rosa, a décor manufacturing company, he left the company ns started his own cartonnage company, selling cartons made out of cardboard. When his company started generating profits he extended his interests into real estate, real estate helped in building his portfolio, and this led to the epiphany that is the Manaira mall.

The versatility off the mall is the most striking thing. It offers a recreation experience, be it shopping or dining. There is a game zone for kids, 11 movie theatres and highly advanced 3D imaging technology which ensures filmgoers have a great time watching high definition movies. The restaurant recently opened a gourmet section for fine dining.

The capital steak was the first steakhouse to establish, it continues to remain one of the most popular restaurants and the pride of Manaira mall. The mall includes Domus halls where parties, events, conferences, exhibitions and corporate events take place. It can accommodate close to 8000 people.

Roberto Santiago built another mall in Joao Pessoa known as Mangabeira in 2013. With estimated 350 thousand potential consumers, the retail networks had nothing to complain about. On inauguration days in Mangabeira, some stores recorded a turnover five times higher than the opening of other stores countrywide. This indicated the potential consumption of the enterprise. When compared to Manaira mall, however, Roberto Santiago says that they are two completely different projects in the urban social aspect. Manaira mall took residents to the neighborhood of Manaíra. The region, which was until then only made up of houses, became a belt of buildings and commercial shops in the surroundings of the enterprise.

Santiago says that the city moved to the Manaira, the malls have led to the growth and development of the social economics aspects in the city. Their presence has led to land rates, but they also help give back to the society by offering employment and attracting more corporates to the city. During the 2015 economic crisis, the mall remained untouched, and this proved Ricardo Santiago prowess in this niche. The stamina to withstand the tides led to attracting investors into the business. Santiago hopes to continue developing, reinventing, and enhancing growth in leisure, sales, and tourist centers. Roberto Santiago was the only Brazilian to win the Brazilian kart championship. Winning merely is in his blood.
